Terms and methods of cancellation

  • In a remote sales transaction of a water bar – the cancellation option is from the day the transaction is made and up to 14 days from receiving the product or receiving a document containing the terms of the transaction, whichever is later, in the following ways: by verbal message – by phone 02-650-2060 and/or 2060* or By oral message at the business or by registered mail to the business address at 40 Givat Shaul St. or by e-mail service@afikim-water.co.il or by fax at 02-580-7576 or on the company’s website at afikim-water.co .il. In the cancellation notice, the consumer will specify his name and identity number, and if the cancellation notice was given orally – additional identifying information if agreed upon with the consumer at the time of the contract.
    In a distance sales transaction concluded with a consumer who is a person with a disability, a senior citizen or a new immigrant, the consumer may cancel the transaction starting from the day the transaction was made, and up to four months from the day of receiving the product or from the day of receiving a document containing the terms of the transaction, whichever is later.
    In the case of delivering a cancellation notice as mentioned above, the consumer will be entitled to a refund of the amount he paid for the water bar, minus a cancellation fee worth 5% of the transaction amount or NIS 100, whichever is the lower (hereinafter: cancellation fee), and minus the company’s costs according to the following breakdown: Payment for the filters that they are used since they are a consumable product (the cost of the basic filter is 288 NIS and the cost of an external quick filtration system for water purification is 480 NIS for each filter used, unused filters will be returned to the company), as well as payment of an installation fee of 100 NIS, in case there was an installation.
  • In the event of cancellation not due to the following reasons: defect or discrepancy, failure to deliver the product at the time specified in the contract, any other violation of the contract by the company, the consumer must return the product to the company’s address at 40 Givat Shaul St. In the event of cancellation due to a defect or discrepancy, or due to the non-delivery of the product at the time specified in the contract or due to any other violation of the contract by the company, the consumer must return the product to the company at the place where it was delivered to the consumer and in such case the customer will not be charged cancellation fees and installation fees.
  • If the returned water bar is damaged, the company will be entitled to demand that you pay the reduction value.
  • When canceling an upgrade deal, the original upgraded product does not sit.
  • In a remote sales transaction of a quick water filtration system (hereinafter: the system) as long as the system has not yet been connected to the water, the consumer may cancel the agreement at the times and in the ways mentioned above, when in the case of purchasing the system and a water bar in one transaction, a consumer who wishes to cancel the purchase of the 2 products will be entitled to a refund The amount he paid for the deal minus a cancellation fee worth 5% of the total amount of the deal or NIS 100 whichever is lower. As long as the system is connected to the water, the consumer is not allowed to cancel the agreement for a filter set that was used, since the filter is a lost/consumable product. The Quick System deal includes 3 filter sets. The first filter set is attached during installation, with the customer receiving 2 additional sets for replacement. A total of NIS 480 must be paid for each filter set used, with the rest of the filter sets sent to the company at the above company address.
  • In the transaction for the sale of a quick water filtration system (hereinafter: the system) that is carried out at the customer’s home – as long as the system has not yet been connected to the water, the transaction can be canceled without payment of a cancellation fee, by giving notice in the above-mentioned way, starting from the day the transaction was made and up to 14 days from the day the system was delivered or From the date of delivery of the written agreement, whichever is later, and in a transaction made with a consumer who is a person with a disability, a senior citizen or a new immigrant, starting from the date of making the transaction and up to 4 months from the date of delivery of the product or from the date of receipt of the written agreement (whichever is later). In case of cancellation of such a transaction, the consumer will return the product to the trader at the place where it was delivered to the consumer. The Quick System deal includes 3 filter sets. As long as the system is connected to water, it is not possible to cancel the transaction for the filter set that is connected to water, since it is a lost/perishable product.
